AIDS:The killing fields of Black America!

AIDS is epidemic in the black community in the United States. It's capturing news headlines. Students all over the country are using Black History Month to discuss AIDS awareness. Teen statistics are alarming! Black females are contracting the disease faster than any other segment of the population. Females contract the disease most often by sharing needles during their IV drug use, having sex with IV drug users and by having sex with black men who hide their bisexuality. While abstinence is the best way to avoid this disease, our government will soon take up a comprehensive sexual educational bill, the Responsible Education About Life Act, known as the REAL Act. Watch the videos below on: AIDS Statistics for Teens, Teens Admitting They Have AIDS, Down Low Males Discussing They Gave The Disease to their Wives and Girlfriends, and other videos.

A grassroots effort is currently underway in Houston. Ladies with a Purpose: Silence is Suicide is led by Windsor Village's Iris Cunningham. Click www.aidshelp.org/goto/ladieswithapurpose for more information and to get involved!

Thank you Gail for highlighting this issue. This is an epidemic in our community and no one wants to talk about it! The Aids Foundation walk is March 9, Sunday. Please use my website www. aidshelp.org/goto/ladieswithapurpose to make a donation or sign up to walk and solicit donations. We need your help. The money helps people in our community who have AIDS.
Gail, Thanks again
Iris
